Russian strike hits Ukraine railway in west: Aftermath revealed

Russian forces attacked the railway in Ukraine's Chernivtsi region during the night of May 23. Due to the strike, infrastructure was damaged, the Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia reports.
In particular, the railway infrastructure in the Chernivtsi region was damaged due to the shelling. There are no killed or injured victims among workers or passengers.
Ukrzaliznytsia trains continue to operate according to established routes.
The Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, also reported on the consequences of the Russian attack in Prykarpattia. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, air defense forces were active. According to Onyshchuk, damage to buildings and vehicles was reported in the Kolomyia district.
Russian drone attack
During the night of May 23, the Russian army once again launched strike drones and decoy UAVs at Ukraine. Enemy drones attacked Ukraine in several waves and approached from multiple directions.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported around 4:00 a.m. Kyiv time that Russian drones had reached the western regions of Ukraine. UAV activity was recorded in the Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
