Russian strike destroys postal sorting hub in Poltava

Today, on Friday, July 31, Russian forces attacked Poltava. In the city, as a result of enemy attack, the Nova Poshta (logistics operator) sorting terminal was destroyed, according to the company's statement on Telegram.
"The clearing of the aftermath is ongoing. Detailed information regarding the damaged cargo will be established shortly," the statement said.
They added that the employees were in shelters during the attack, so there are no dead or injured.

The company also stated that it will compensate clients for the declared value of shipments destroyed as a result of the Russian attack.
"Nova Poshta has already activated backup logistics routes to minimize possible delivery delays. Up-to-date information on the status of shipments can be found in the mobile app and on the Nova Poshta website," the statement summarized.
Other Russian attacks on Nova Poshta
On the night of July 30, during a massive attack on Ukraine, Russia also struck a Nova Poshta sorting terminal in Poltava. At the time of the attack, employees were in shelters, so there were no casualties.
On the same day, Russian forces struck Dnipro. As a result of the attack, a Nova Poshta terminal caught fire.
On July 31, Russian units struck a Nova Poshta branch in the Vinnytsia region in the morning. As a result of the attack, there were casualties.
