Russian spy previously expelled from Romania killed in Kursk region
Serbian mercenary and former Russian spy Bratislav Živković was killed in the Kursk region. Earlier, he was expelled from Romania because of espionage, reports Digi24.
Serbian mercenary Bratislav Živković, who was previously recognized as an undesirable person in Romania because of his espionage activities in favor of Russia, was killed in the battles in the Kursk region of Russia.
“On the night of January 2, our friend and comrade-in-arms, assault platoon commander Bratislav Živković died as a hero in heavy fighting for the liberation of the Kursk region,” the Russian Telegram channel said in a statement.
Živković was the head of the extremist organization Cetniciki Pokret in Serbia. He has been involved in hostilities on the side of pro-Russian forces since 2014 and has also been involved in espionage activities in Romania.
In 2017, the Bucharest Court of Appeal recognized him as an undesirable person and banned him from entering Romania for 15 years.
In 2018, he was arrested by Serbian law enforcement officers.
