Russian saboteur destroys important Russian equipment on the frontline
A Russian organized a diversion at the front, destroying important equipment of the Russian army. He burned to the ground a Russian armored reconnaissance and surveillance vehicle in the Donetsk sector, according to the ATESH guerrilla movement.
“An agent of the ATESH movement from among the Russian military conducted a successful sabotage, destroying an armored reconnaissance and surveillance vehicle (BRDM) of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donetsk sector,” the statement said.
According to the guerrillas, near the village of Novokaterynivka, the agent managed to set fire to the vehicle, which was performing reconnaissance and patrol missions.
“As a result, the BRDM, which plays a key role in the mobility and protection of the occupiers' reconnaissance units, was completely destroyed. Such actions are becoming more frequent in the ranks of the Russian army,” ATESH noted.
Guerrilla sabotage
It is not the first time that ATESH guerrillas have carried out sabotage both on the front line and in Russia. Russian soldiers, who have agreed to join the movement, often assist them.
For example, in June, the guerrillas sabotaged the railroad connecting Rostov-on-Don and the temporarily occupied Mariupol in the Donetsk region.
In August, guerrillas sabotaged a railroad line that is a key logistical route for the Russian Armed Forces in southern Ukraine. This line connects Rostov-on-Don with Mariupol via Berdiansk.
