Modern Ukrainian technologies on the battlefield reduce the life expectancy of a newly recruited Russian soldier to 20-30 minutes. The statement refers to AI-powered drones, according to US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine at the Air, Space & Cyber Conference.
Russian recruit lives for up to half an hour
General Caine said that in some sections of the front line, the life expectancy of a newly arrived Russian recruit is only 20 to 30 minutes.
"Think about that. This is what happens when low cost precision is fielded fast, adapted quickly, and scaled across the battlefield," he added.
General Caine explained such critical losses by the rapid development of military technologies, in particular the mass and effective use of Ukrainian drones equipped with artificial intelligence (computer vision). They are capable of hitting targets even when GPS navigation is unavailable.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the average life expectancy of a Russian recruit arriving on the battlefield in Ukraine is 20 to 30 minutes. This was stated by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
In addition, hundreds of thousands of Russians are receiving mobilization orders at military enlistment offices. This allows the authorities to quickly summon men to assembly points if necessary.
