Russian propagandist killed in Zaporizhzhia, his colleague wounded

In the Zaporizhzhia region, RIA Novosti war correspondent Ivan Zuyev was killed. Yuri Voitkevych sustained serious injuries, according to Russian media.
Propaganda outlet RIA Novosti reported that Zuyev allegedly died from a drone strike while carrying out a journalistic assignment.
Zuyev’s death was confirmed by the so-called governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky.
Zuyev’s colleague, another Russian propagandist and war correspondent, Yuri Voitkevych, sustained serious injuries.
The propaganda outlet RIA Novosti stated that this is the third death of one of their staff members while on combat assignments. In 2014, Andrei Stenin was killed, and in 2023, Rostislav Zhuravlyov died.

Kirill Vyshinsky, who worked for the Kremlin for many years, died in August 2025 at the age of 58. The former acting director of the agency, Russia Today, once managed the Russian media branch in Ukraine. In 2018, he was detained in Kyiv on suspicion of treason but was later exchanged for Ukrainian political prisoners.
The daughter of Russian world ideologist Aleksandr Dugin was killed in August 2022. The 29-year-old propagandist actively supported the war against Ukraine and appeared at Kremlin rallies. Her car exploded in the Moscow suburb of Peredelkino after a bomb was planted.
Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maksim Fomin), a war correspondent who, from the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, called for brutal actions and boasted about the Russian army’s crimes, was killed in April 2023 in St. Petersburg when an explosive device went off in a café where he was meeting with his followers.
Another propagandist and active participant in the information war, Andriy Morozov, known by the call sign Murz, was found dead in 2024. According to Russian media, it was a suicide. Morozov was known for mocking international sanctions and advocating the continuation of aggression against Ukraine.
