Russian propagandist Alexander Korobov, known as Crab, was eliminated in Belgorod on September 15. He worked for the channel Russia 1 and created propaganda materials for the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

"According to information from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, on September 15, 2024, in Belgorod, Russian propagandist Alexander Korobov, known as Crab, had his skull cracked. The accomplice in war crimes and the Kremlin's genocide of the Ukrainian people died from injuries," the statement reads.

The Ukrainian intelligence noted that Korobov worked for the Russia 1 channel, where he headed its Belgorod office. He also praised Russian war criminals in the broadcasts of Olga Skabeeva.

Additionally, Korobov created content for the Zvezda channel, a resource of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and received awards from President Vladimir Putin.

Korobov was originally from Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia's Khabarovsk Krai but he actually lived in Belgorod. He occasionally traveled to Moscow for instructions.

Among other roles, Korobov worked in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"Crab not only worked on Russian propaganda but also personally participated in severe war crimes against Ukraine," the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine stated.

Earlier, we reported that a well-known Russian actor and supporter of Kremlin policy, Yevgeny Shishov, was killed by Ukrainian defenders. He went to war to kill Ukrainians as a volunteer.
