Russian overnight attack sparks fires in four Kyiv districts, people killed

Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones overnight on September 30. Fires broke out in four districts of the capital, and two women were killed, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
According to city officials, the aftermath of the Russian attack was recorded in four districts of Kyiv. Two women were killed in the attack.
Another four people were injured. One of them was hospitalized, while the others received the necessary medical assistance.

In the Podilskyi district, warehouse buildings and private houses were damaged. One of the houses caught fire, but rescuers have already extinguished it.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a single-story private house and neighboring houses caught fire. The fire was extinguished.
Three fires were reported in the Holosiivskyi district. A concrete mixer, a bathhouse and a utility building caught fire. Rescuers extinguished all the fires.
In the Solomianskyi district, grass caught fire in an open area after debris from a UAV fell. The fire was also quickly extinguished.
As of 8:00 a.m. on September 30, rescuers were continuing to assess the aftermath of the overnight attack on the capital.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack drones overnight on September 30.
The Kyiv region was the main target. In total, Russia used 188 attack UAVs, as well as ballistic and anti-ship missiles.
Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 160 aerial targets, but hits were recorded at 18 locations.
