In Odesa, an enemy attack on the night of January 12 caused power outages and damage to a building, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, on Telegram.

Lysak reported that the night attack damaged both infrastructure facilities and residential buildings.

In part of the Peresypskyi district, electricity is temporarily unavailable, and specialists are working on restoring service.

Heating, water supply, and sewage systems are operating normally.

“An operational headquarters has been set up at the site of the attack, where residents can apply for compensation under the state program ‘eRecovery’ and from the city budget. We provide consultations and assistance to residents whose homes were damaged,” the head of the Military Administration reported.

A warming center has also been set up for residents.

Aftermath of the strike on Odesa

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on the night of January 12, an enemy attack damaged an infrastructure facility in the Odesa district of Odesa region, causing temporary power outages in part of the district.

Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured, and residential buildings were damaged.

One private house was completely destroyed, while four others sustained varying degrees of damage.

Previously, on January 9, Russian forces attacked Odesa with drones. Residents were urged to stay in safe locations. The Ukrainian Air Force reported enemy drones heading toward Odesa from the Black Sea.
