Russian night attack: Air defense forces eliminate over 40 drones

The Russian Federation launched almost fifty attack drones at Ukraine tonight, December 6. Air defense forces destroyed 41 UAVs, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with Shaheds from two directions - Cape Chauda (Crimea) and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. A total of 48 attack drones were launched.
"As a result of an air battle, the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 41 enemy attack UAVs," the statement says.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the Russian attack.

Last night, during an air raid alert, explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi district. The regional military administration reported that air defense forces were operating in the region.
The Southern Defense Forces reported the movement of Shaheds towards the town of Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi district.
