On Sunday afternoon, November 16, the Russian army struck one of the districts of the Kharkiv region with a drone. The Russian forces hit a children’s playground, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

At around 01:48 p.m. local time, Terekhov reported a strike by an enemy “Molniya” drone on the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city.

“Information about the injured and the consequences is being clarified,” he wrote.

A few minutes later, he clarified that the Russians had struck a children’s playground.

“The impact occurred at a children’s playground. Several windows in nearby buildings were shattered. Fortunately, there are no injuries or deaths,” he said.

Russian strike on Kharkiv on November 12

Earlier, it was reported that a series of explosions rang out in Kharkiv on the morning of November 12 during a Russian kamikaze drone attack. Several impacts were recorded in one of the city’s districts.

According to preliminary data, three Shaheds struck the central part of Kharkiv. As a result, a civilian manufacturing facility and private homes were damaged. There is currently no information about casualties.

It also became known that on the morning of November 12, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the warehouses of the SAT transport company in Kharkiv. The logistics enterprise suffered damages, which are currently being assessed.

In addition, earlier Russian drones carried out a massive attack on one of the city’s districts, leaving more than 20,000 residents without electricity.

Furthermore, Russian forces destroyed two transformer substations that supplied electricity to Kharkiv.
