Russian missile strike on Sumy: 34 dead, 117 injured, including children

Today, on Palm Sunday, Russian forces struck Sumy with ballistic missiles. At this moment, the number of dead and injured has once again increased, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
As of 6:00 p.m. Kyiv time, due to an enemy shelling, 34 people have been killed, including 2 children, in Sumy. Among the injured, there are already 117 people, of whom 15 are children.
"We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased. This is an irreparable loss for the entire country," the statement says.

Russia attacked the city of Sumy with two ballistic missiles. The strikes hit the city center, where many people were present - in the streets, in cars, and on public transport. According to the Sumy City Military Administration, it was particularly the second strike that resulted in a large number of human casualties.
As of 2:10 p.m. Kyiv time, the reports informed about 32 dead, and as of 3:35 p.m., about 99 injured victims.
