Russian forces have launched Smerch rocket strikes on Ukrainsk and Pokrovsk, resulting in casualties and injuries, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of Donetsk Regional Administration.

Around 10:50, Russian troops shelled Ukrainian with BM-30 Smerch multiple rocket launchers using cluster munitions. As a result, one person was killed, and two others were injured. Four 2-story buildings and one private house were damaged.

Additionally, according to Filashkin, one more person was injured in Pokrovsk.

"An administrative building in the city was damaged. Russians are targeting civilians in Donbas every day. Don't turn yourself into a target!" he appealed to residents of the Donetsk region.

Yesterday, Russians dropped two corrected aerial bombs on Selydove. As a result, five people were killed, and 15 more were injured.

Yesterday, a resident of Sloviansk was also injured, and three people were killed in the territorial community of Chasiv Yar. In total, 11 people were killed and 43 were injured in the Donetsk region due to shelling over the past day.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops continue to actively press in the Toretsk direction and constantly attack in the Pokrovsk direction.
