Russian losses in Ukraine on July 28: over 500 soldiers and 30 artillery systems
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as of Friday morning, July 28, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine reached 560 occupiers, with the total number of casualties in the Russian army since the invasion beginning amounting to 244,830 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 11 drones and 30 artillery systems belonging to the Russian side.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 28.07.23 were approximately:

cruise missiles ‒ 1347 (+0),
warships / boats ‒ 18 (+0),
vehicles and fuel tanks – 7240 (+11),
special equipment ‒ 709 (+1).
Frontline situation as of the morning of July 28:
According to the General Staff, there were more than 30 armed clashes in the past day. Ukrainian defenders struck 5 enemy artillery positions and dealt 7 blows to areas with concentrations of Russian occupiers' personnel.
In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the village of Staromaiorske in Donetsk region, where heavy fighting had taken place in recent days.
