Russian forces strike Kirovohrad region overnight: Fire breaks out and philharmonia damaged

Russian forces launched a drone strike on Kropyvnytskyi overnight on July 28, using UAVs. A fire broke out as a result of the strike and is currently being extinguished, Head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andriy Raikovych, reports.
"Kropyvnytskyi experienced an enemy drone attack. Emergency services are on site," noted the Head of the Regional Military Administration.
Later, Raikovych reported that firefighting operations were ongoing in the city following the overnight enemy attack. Relevant services are inspecting the impacted areas. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
"The blast wave damaged the regional philharmonic building. Once experts complete their assessment, utility crews and a commission will begin work to examine the aftermath," the Head of the Regional Military Administration added.
Overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of a potential kamikaze drone threat targeting Kropyvnytskyi.

Last night, on July 28, Russian forces launched another massive strike on Ukraine using various types of missiles and kamikaze drones.
A series of explosions was heard overnight in Kyiv. Later reports confirmed that several people were injured in the Darnytskyi district, and several multi-story buildings were damaged.
A series of blasts also sounded in Kropyvnytskyi. In addition, the Khmelnytskyi region came under Russian attack - multiple explosions were heard overnight in the town of Starokostiantyniv.
