Russian forces strike civilian and energy infrastructure in Odesa with drones

Late in the evening, on March 7, the Russian army attacked Odesa again. The civilian and energy infrastructure of the city was hit by drones, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
“The enemy has again launched a massive drone strike on the civilian and energy infrastructure of Odesa,” the statement said.
Kiper added that the attack caused damage and destruction. In particular, an industrial building and a gas station caught fire due to falling debris.
“All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attacks. Information about the victims is being clarified,” added Kiper.
Russian attacks in the Odesa region
On the night of March 7, Russian forces attacked the energy sector in the Odesa region again. In the morning, DTEK (private investor in the energy sector of Ukraine -ed.) reported that the Russian forces had damaged the sixth power facility in six months.
“For the fourth night in a row, the enemy has been attacking DTEK's energy facilities in the Odesa region. Power engineers are working around the clock to repair the equipment,” the statement said.
