Russian forces struck Kherson during the night of June 7. The shelling killed a married couple, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

According to him, the occupying forces shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson overnight. Residential buildings were targeted. Two apartment buildings were damaged as a result of the attack.

The Russian attack in Kherson resulted in the deaths of a married couple — a 56-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian forces shelled 28 settlements in the region and Kherson city over the past day. The occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure, damaging two apartment buildings and 12 private houses.

They also damaged warehouses, an outbuilding, a garage, agricultural machinery, and private vehicles.

Attack on Ukraine on June 7

On the night of June 7, Russians launched one of the most powerful strikes on Kharkiv since the start of the full-scale war. According to the prosecutor’s office, Russia attacked the city with 53 drones, four guided bombs, and one missile, reportedly an X-35.

According to Kharkiv’s mayor, at least 18 apartment buildings and 13 private houses were damaged. Three people were killed and 17 injured.

Russian forces also struck Dnipro and Pavlohrad, with six missiles and 27 rockets intercepted in the region overnight.
