Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones at night
Russian forces launched a nighttime attack on Ukrainian territory using Shahed-type combat drones on March 16. Air Defense Forces successfully destroyed all enemy targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two out of two Shahed-type combat drones in the Kharkiv region on the night of March 16, 2024," the Ukrainian Air Force statement said.

Earlier, the Air Force reported that there was a threat of combat drones for the Kharkiv and Sumy regions overnight. According to the monitoring publics, the Shahed drones were launched from the territory of the Belgorod region.
Shahed attack on the night of March 14-15
On Thursday, March 14, Russian forces again attacked the southern, central, and western regions with Shahed-type combat drones.
After 9:00 p.m., an air raid alert was announced in the Khmelnytskyi region. It lasted for about two hours, during which the sounds of explosions were heard.
In the Vinnytsia region, during the night attack, one of the drones hit a residential building. As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and four others were injured.
