Shelling of Kupiansk and the region
Russian forces continue to shell Kupiansk and the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region with various types of weaponry, including artillery.
It's noted that Russian troops seized Kupiansk during the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. By September 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had regained control of Kupiansk. Despite this, Russia continues to attack the city and its surrounding areas.
According to the General Staff, as of July 11, there were 10 attacks in the Kupiansk direction within the day. AFU repelled all assaults by Russia near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Berestove.
