Russian forces attacked the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region on Friday, July 5th, using drones. A local resident and an ambulance crew that arrived to provide medical assistance were hit in the enemy strike, according to Telegram messages from Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson Regional Military Administration.

"An enemy drone dropped an explosive device on a local resident who was in a car. The 74-year-old man suffered explosive and cranial injuries, as well as a concussion," Prokudin reported.

Furthermore, according to him, the emergency crew that arrived to assist the victim was hit again by a Russian drone.

The paramedic sustained moderate injuries and received onsite medical assistance. Additionally, the medical team's vehicle was damaged as a result of the enemy attack.

Shelling of Kherson and region

On Tuesday, July 2, Russian troops attacked Kherson. As a result of the attack, eight people were injured and one woman was killed.

On the evening of June 28, Russian forces shelled the village of Komyshany in the Kherson region with artillery. The shell hit a residential house. Two injuries have been reported.

On June 22, Russian forces attacked a police checkpoint in the Kherson region with a drone. A law enforcement officer was killed.
