Russian forces active along almost entire front line - General Staff

Since the beginning of July 26, Russian troops have been active along almost the entire front line. The enemy is concentrating its efforts on offensive actions in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, there have been 78 combat engagements on the front line so far. Ukrainian defenders are holding off the pressure and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Enemy shelling
Bordering settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from artillery shelling and airstrikes from the territory of Russia.
The areas of the settlements of Klyusy, Iskryskivshchyna, Oleksandrivka, Ryasne, Pavlivka, Khrynivka, Leonivka, Slavgorod, and Velyka Pysarivka have been affected by artillery and mortar fire. Additionally, Russian troops have used unguided air rockets from Su-25 attack aircraft to strike the Basivka area.
Kharkiv region is facing systematic bombardments from enemy aviation. Today, from Russian territory, the enemy dropped a total of 11 KABs (guided aerial bombs). The strikes hit the areas of the settlements of Tykhe, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Lyptsi, and Vovchanski Khutory.
Situation in the directions
Kharkiv direction: the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled seven enemy assaults near Slobozhanske, Hlyboke, and Vovchansk.
Kupiansk direction: the enemy launched three assaults on our positions in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Tabayivka, and Pisky. Fighting continues near the latter two settlements. The enemy bombarded Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi and fired NARs (unguided rockets) near Synkivka.
Lyman direction: the Russian army carried out five attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nevske, Novoselivka, and Novoiehorivka today. Two engagements ended unsuccessfully for the enemy, while three are ongoing. The enemy is most active around Nevske.
Siversk direction: Russian troops made three unsuccessful attacks near Verkhnyokamyanske and Ivanodariivka. The situation is under control.
Kramatorsk direction: our forces repelled four enemy assaults near Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar throughout the day. Russian forces are operating with air support, using NARs.
Toretsk direction: the enemy conducted seven attacks near Zalizne, Pivnichne, and New York. Fighting is ongoing near each of these settlements. Additionally, the enemy carried out airstrikes on New York and Druzhba with unguided air rockets.
Pokrovsk direction: the Pokrovsk direction has seen the highest number of combat engagements so far. Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has made 23 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvizhenska, Vesele, Novoselivka Persha, Yasnobrodivka, and Tymofiivka.
More than half of the combat engagements are still ongoing. The enemy has also conducted four airstrikes on the areas of Oleksandropil and Novoselivka Persha.
Kurakhove direction: active fighting continues in the Kurakhove direction. Ukrainian defenders have repelled eight attacks by the Russian army and are continuing to resist the enemy in four more engagements.
The enemy is concentrating its efforts in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. Russian troops bombarded areas near Ukrainsk with KABs (guided aerial bombs).
Vremivka direction: one enemy assault near Vodiane has been repelled. Fighting continues in four locations near Kostyantynivka, Staromlynivka, and Vodiane. The enemy has struck with unguided air rockets in the area of Urozhayne.
Orikhiv direction: the enemy faced a strong rebuff near the settlements of Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka, making five attacks.
Additionally, they bombarded the area of Mala Tokmachka with seven KABs and fired over 120 unguided air rockets. NARs (unguided rockets) were aimed at Huliaipole, Lobkove, and Kamianske.
"Other directions remain unchanged," the General Staff added.
Situation on the frontlines and Russian losses
According to the General Staff, on July 25, there were 147 combat engagements recorded on the frontlines. The situation remains hottest in the Pokrovsk direction.
Over the past day, Russian losses totaled 950 military personnel. The total losses of the Russian army in terms of personnel have reached 572,300.
Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed seven tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 36 artillery systems, 73 operational-tactical level UAVs, 56 vehicles, and seven pieces of special equipment belonging to the enemy.
