Russian troops attacked the Poltava region on the night of October 19. There are reports of damage, according to the Telegram account of the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin.

"The enemy has again attacked the Poltava region with drones," he stated.

In particular, two private buildings were damaged in the Lubny district.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties. All relevant services are working. Please do not ignore air raid alerts. Make sure to stay in shelters during this time. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones," Pronin emphasized.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

On the night of October 19, Russia launched drones and missiles against Ukraine once again. The Air Forces reported over 100 drones and missiles in total.

In particular, a critical infrastructure facility was attacked in the Cherkasy region, resulting in one fatality and one injury. Energy facilities were targeted in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, with rolling blackouts introduced in Sumy.

Additionally, in Shostka, Sumy region, Russia struck a fire station, injuring eight people, including rescuers.
