Russian drone targets residential building in Kyiv

In the early hours of June 23, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Kyiv. A multi-story residential building was hit in one of the districts, according to a Telegram post from Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
“Preliminary reports indicate a strike on a multi-story residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. Information is being confirmed,” the statement at 1:21 a.m. Kyiv time reads.
He also added that debris was recorded falling in an open area within the same district.

“The information about a strike on a high-rise building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was not confirmed,” Tkachenko wrote.
Attack on Kyiv
Russian forces have been attacking the capital in waves of drones throughout the night. The falling debris has caused damage across several districts.
This includes damaged buildings, at least one fire, and one reported injury.
