Russian drone strikes hospital in Kherson, injuring civilians

Russian forces struck a hospital in central Kherson with a drone at around 6:20 p.m. on Friday, injuring four healthcare workers, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"At around 6:20 p.m., Russian forces attacked a healthcare facility in Kherson with a drone. Four nurses, aged 56, 67, 53, and 65, were injured in the strike," the administration said.
The women suffered blast injuries and concussions. After receiving medical treatment, they will continue their recovery as outpatients.
Earlier, on the night of August 6, Russian forces attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Kherson, leaving the entire city without electricity.
The power outage also disrupted the water supply, with residents receiving water at reduced pressure.
On the night of August 5, Russian forces destroyed the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Daryivka in the Kherson region. The church had been built by the local community in honor of Ukrainian soldiers who died defending the country.
RBC-Ukraine also previously reported an incident in Kherson in which a Russian drone chased a civilian vegetable vendor in the local market. Despite the attack, the 52-year-old man from the Mykolaiv region survived.
