In Kharkiv, Russian troops struck a dormitory in the Kyivskyi district of the city, where displaced persons from Kupiansk were living, according to Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov.

According to Terekhov, the explosion in the city was caused by a drone launched from the territory of Russia. He said that the type of drone is currently being determined.

Russian strike hit a dormitory where people live, including displaced persons from Kupiansk, Kharkiv region.

There were no casualties as a result of the explosion, but windows, the roof, and part of the building's structure were damaged.

Syniehubov adds that 2 civilian vehicles were also damaged.

State Emergency Service of Ukraine units are working at the scene.

Russian strike on Kharkiv

An explosion occurred in the central part of one of the city's districts in a residential area. After that, local authorities reported that the causes of the explosion were being investigated.

Last night, Kharkiv was also attacked by Russian strike drones.

Before that, Russia launched a massive drone attack on one of the city's districts, leaving more than 20,000 residents without electricity.

In addition, Russian troops recently destroyed two transformer substations that supplied electricity to Kharkiv.
