Russian drone debris falls near Kyiv store, injuries reported

On Thursday, August 3, fragments of a Russian drone fell near a store in Kyiv, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv City Military Administration.
"Drone fragments fell near a store in the Darnytskyi district. There are likely casualties," Klitschko said.
He also noted that the city’s emergency services were heading to the scene.
Videos of people injured as a result of the drone debris falling in Kyiv later appeared on social media.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that medics hospitalized two people injured by the falling drone fragments.

Klitschko reported that in the Darnytskyi district, where drone debris fell near a store, part of the roadway and five cars were damaged.
Earlier today, three people were injured after Russian forces struck a high-rise building in Kyiv, while another 25 people were evacuated.
In addition, the attack sparked a fire covering an area of 50 square meters, which firefighters managed to extinguish.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones today. Fragments of an enemy drone fell onto a roadway.
