A fire broke out in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district due to a Russian drone attack on October 25. It has already been extinguished, according to the acting head of the Darnytskyi district administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
“Russia continues night terror, shelling the capital, in particular through the territory of the Darnytskyi district,” he says.
According to him, the wreckage of a downed Russian unmanned aerial vehicle caused a fire in the open area.
“Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire and prevented its spread,” states Kalashnyk.

He notes that thanks to the work of Ukrainian air defense, the threat to critical infrastructure and civilians has been eliminated.
Russian drone attack on Kyiv
After midnight, an air alert was announced in Kyiv. It was related to the threat of Russian attacks using attack drones.
Explosions were heard in the Kyiv region around 1 a.m. Kyiv time and air defense was activated. At about 1:30 Kyiv time, explosions were heard in Kyiv.
Later, it became known that the Ukrainian military had shot down all Russian attack drones that were headed for Kyiv. It was about 15 Shaheds.
