On April 4, Russian forces launched several waves of Shahed drone attacks on Kharkiv. The attack resulted in hits on residential civilian areas, damaging both apartment buildings and private houses, leading to casualties and injuries, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"At least 10 people have been injured as a result of the occupiers' attack on Kharkiv, with 4 fatalities reported. All the affected individuals are receiving medical assistance. Multi-story apartment buildings and private sector houses have been damaged," wrote Syniehubov.

Update: According to information from the head of the Kharkiv RMA and the mayor of the city, the number of those affected and provided assistance due to the attack amounts to 12.

Nighttime Russian attack on Kharkiv

Explosions were heard in Kharkiv around 1:01 AM during an air raid alarm, issued due to the threat of enemy missile strikes.

Later reports indicated that the Shahed drones targeted private and multi-story residential buildings in Kharkiv. A fire broke out at one location hit by the strikes, while at another one, sections of a residential building collapsed.

The number of casualties in Kharkiv due to the Russian attack has also risen: four people were killed and ten others were injured to varying degrees as a result of the Russian Shahed drone attack on Kharkiv.
