Russian attacks on Kupiansk

The situation near Kupiansk remains difficult, but under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Pavlo Shamshyn, a spokesperson for the Kharkiv operational and tactical group, the Russians want to set up pontoon crossings for armored vehicles across the Oskil River to storm or surround Kupiansk.

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) recently showed a video of repulsing one of the Russian attacks in the Kupiansk sector. In the video, a soldier of the HUR's special forces unit single-handedly held off an assault by Russian forces in his area of trenches: he was alone against five Russians, but emerged victorious.
