Russian forces attacked Kherson using a drone and artillery. The shelling resulted in one casualty and four people wounded, according to the press service of the Kherson City Military Administration and the Telegram channel of the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

Russian troops launched new strikes on Kherson. In the Korabelnyi district, the occupiers attacked a 46-year-old man with a drone.

As a result of the explosive device drop, he suffered a mine-explosive injury, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported. His condition is being clarified as doctors conduct further examinations.

About an hour ago, the Dniprovskyi district of the city also came under enemy fire.

At least one woman, aged 85, was injured and hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury. Medical staff continue to monitor her condition.

Later, two more wounded people were reported. A 54-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with shrapnel wounds to her face.

Another victim was also hospitalized; her condition is assessed as severe. Doctors are currently providing all the wounded with necessary medical care.

The Regional Military Administration reported that a man sustained fatal injuries during the enemy’s artillery shelling. Relevant services are currently identifying the deceased.

Russian strikes on Kherson

Kherson suffers daily from Russian attacks as the city remains within range of enemy artillery. The right-bank part of the Kherson region was liberated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in autumn 2022, but the left-bank area remains under Russian occupation. The occupiers also actively use drones.

Recall that on the night of June 21, Russian forces struck residential areas of Kherson, hitting the Central district of the city.

According to local authorities, the enemy shelling damaged apartment buildings: windows were blown out, balconies, roofs, and facades were destroyed.

On June 17, 12 people were injured by Russian drone strikes in Kherson. All received wounds and were hospitalized.

Additionally, on June 11, two civilians were injured during renewed attacks by Russian forces. The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that at around 4:00 a.m., the occupiers struck the Shumensky district.

Also, on April 17, Russian forces attacked an ambulance in Kherson, injuring a medic and a driver during the shelling.
