Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia: 10 people injured, one fatality
During a Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia on December 29, 10 people were wounded and one woman was killed. People may be trapped under the rubble, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yurii Malashko, and the secretary of Zaporizhzhia city council, Anatolii Kurtev.
"Unfortunately, we know about one dead woman. Preliminary, there are 10 injured. There may be people under the rubble of one of the buildings. Operational services are working at the scene," Malashko says.
According to Malashko, the enemy targeted the territories of several enterprises in the city.
"One of the missiles hit an open area, another destroyed a private house. The blast wave and debris damaged high-rise buildings in one of the districts of the regional center," adds the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
At the same time, one of the enemy missiles was shot down by air defense in Zaporizhzhia district.
One more casualty
The number of victims of the morning missile attack in Zaporizhzhia has increased.
"Rescuers conducting a search and rescue operation at the site of the attack pulled the body of another woman from the rubble of a private house," says Kurtev.
