Russian attack on Kyiv - Casualties reported, over 50 injured, including six children

During the night, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined attack on Kyiv. According to preliminary reports, more than 50 people were injured in the strike, with casualties confirmed, according to the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
Around 03:30 AM Kyiv time, the mayor reported that 41 people were injured, including 5 children. He specified that all necessary assistance was being provided to them.
A few minutes later, the information about the casualties was updated.
"One person has died. 50 people have been injured. Of them, 35 were hospitalized, including 6 children. 15 received help on-site," he wrote.
At 03:55 AM Kyiv time, Klitschko reported that there are now two fatalities in Kyiv as a result of the massive attack.
"54 people have been injured. 38 of them, including 6 children, have been hospitalized. The others were treated on-site," he wrote.
Earlier, it was reported that five people had been injured, including one child.
Attack on Kyiv
In the early hours of the day, the capital of Ukraine was hit by a combined, massive attack by Russia. First, the Russians launched Shahed-type strike drones, followed by ballistic missiles.
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a fire broke out in a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. There was damage, and people may be trapped under the rubble.
