Russian attack hits Chuhuiv and Kupiansk, injuries reported including child

Late in the evening on July 4, Russian forces attacked the cities of Chuhuiv and Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the attack, there are casualties, including a child, reports the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"A strike by an enemy kamikaze drone of the Shahed type was recorded in the city of Chuhuiv. As of now, preliminary information reports two injured individuals, including a 12-year-old boy," the statement reads.
At the same time, Syniehubov warned that enemy drones continue to be detected over the Kharkiv region. In connection with this, he urged people to stay in safe places until the air raid alert is lifted.
A little later, the head of the Regional Military Administration clarified that the number of injured in Chuhuiv has risen to three. Additionally, the enemy shelled the city of Kupiansk.
“The enemy also shelled the city of Kupiansk. According to preliminary data, we have two injured. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance,” wrote Syniehubov.
Attacks on the Kharkiv region
The Kharkiv region is constantly subjected to Russian attacks. For example, on July 4, Russian forces struck the central part of Kupiansk.
“The enemy struck the civilian residents of Kupiansk. A Russian shell hit the central part of the city, near a store. Unfortunately, a 55-year-old woman was killed,” reported Syniehubov.
In addition, two more people were injured, a 56-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman. The injured were hospitalized.
