Russian forces struck the sorting center of the EVA cosmetics store chain in Odesa yesterday, September 13. The enemy used missiles in the attack, according to EVA's press service.

Representatives of the EVA chain said that at around 09:00 am Kyiv time, the EVA sorting center in Odesa was destroyed as a result of a Russian missile attack. It supplies stores in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions with goods.

"None of the center's employees were injured. An assessment of the extent of the damage is ongoing. The EVA team is making every effort to minimize the impact of the situation on the operation of stores in the region," the press service clarified.

Attacks on businesses

Russian forces have been regularly attacking warehouses belonging to Ukrainian and foreign companies over the past several months.

In particular, the enemy has already attacked warehouses belonging to the Fozzy Group, Fora, VARUS, and ROZETKA store chains, a Coca-Cola production plant, and others.

As Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi noted yesterday, September 13, due to the constant attacks on warehouses, Ukraine's budget could receive about UAH 70 billion less.

Against this backdrop, the Ukrainian government has prepared a number of decisions to support Ukrainian businesses. In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers is proposing preferential loans of up to UAH 1 billion.
