Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia on May 30. Russian strikes caused a fire at an infrastructure facility, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

"The Russian attack caused a fire at one of Zaporizhzhia's infrastructure facilities," he said.

According to preliminary data from the head of the regional military administration, there were no casualties.

"Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene," Fedorov added.

Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia and region

Russian troops are constantly striking Zaporizhzhia and the region. In particular, on the night of May 30, Russian troops launched 90 drones and 2 ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces eliminated most of the drones.

On May 29, the Russians attacked residential buildings in the village of Verkhnia Tersa in the Polohy district of the Zaporizhzhia region with aerial bombs. People were trapped under the rubble.

In total, on May 29, 2 people were killed and 5 more were wounded as a result of Russian strikes on the Polohy and Vasylivka districts.
