Russian assault fails as Ukrainian drones destroy five tanks and MLRS in Donetsk

Ukrainian drone operators successfully stopped a Russian assault in the Donetsk direction, striking a multiple rocket launch system (MLRS) and five tanks, according to Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the Donetsk direction, operators of the 427th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems Rarog halted enemy assault actions. They destroyed tanks, depriving enemy infantry groups of cover and preventing further advancement," the report said.
Ukrainian forces also delivered an effective strike on a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launch system while the Russian army was firing at Ukrainian positions. The coordinated action interrupted the salvo and destroyed the combat vehicle.
"The systematic work of the 427th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems Rarog weakens the enemy's offensive potential and provides the Defense Forces with a tactical advantage in specific sections of the front," the Ukrainian Drone Forces summarized.
This week, it was reported that Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian ground robotic system, Kurier, for the first time in the Pokrovsk direction. The system is designed for combat use.
Earlier, Ukrainian Drone Forces destroyed a rare and expensive Zhytel electronic warfare radar station in the Luhansk region.
