Russian army launches mass strikes on Nikopol district
The Russian army today, on December 28, struck the community in the Nikopol district. As a result of the enemy attack, a young man was killed, and there is one person injured, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
"Today, the villages of the Pokrovske settlement hromada in the Nikopol district were under attack. However, most of the attacks were aimed at the district center," the statement said.
It is noted that a young man was killed in the city, and a 70-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized in a moderate condition.
"Seventeen private houses and two multi-story buildings were damaged. One utility building was destroyed, and five were damaged. Forty solar panels, cars, gas pipelines, and power lines were damaged. The administrative building was also affected," added the head of the region.
Shelling in Nikopol
Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region is currently under constant shelling by occupiers attacking the city from the other side of the Dnipro River, including from the temporarily occupied Enerhodar in the Zaporizhzhia region.
It was recently reported that the Russian army attacked Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region using a drone and artillery. As a result, a woman was injured.
