On July 21, there were 77 combat engagements along the front lines. The situation remained most intense in the Pokrovsk direction, with the enemy also active in the Kharkiv and Kupiansk areas, according to the General Staff's report.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army launched nine attacks near Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Seven of these attacks were successfully repelled by our defenders, with two to three ongoing.

Preliminary estimates indicate that the aggressor’s losses today include 79 soldiers killed or wounded. Additionally, our forces have destroyed a tank, two artillery systems, an armored combat vehicle, 12 trucks, and three pieces of specialized equipment, as well as 11 drones. Two tanks have also been damaged.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance towards our positions near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, Berestove, and in the direction of Hlushkivka ten times throughout the day. Seven of these attacks were successfully repelled by the defense forces, with ongoing combat.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian army launched six attacks in the areas of Makiivka and Terni. One engagement is still ongoing, while the rest were halted by our forces. The losses of the Russian forces are being confirmed.

In the Siversk direction, the Russian army made five unsuccessful attempts to breach our defenses in the areas of Verkhniokamianske and Vyjimka throughout the day. Fighting near Verkhniokamianske continues.

In the Kramatorsk direction, enemy activity resulted in five combat engagements. Three attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Andriivka were repelled, while two engagements are ongoing. The Russian army is suffering losses.

In the Toretsk direction, our forces repelled five enemy attacks near Pivnichne, Toretsk, and Zalizne. Three attacks were successfully repelled, with the enemy making no gains. Fighting continues at two locations, and the situation remains under control.

The highest level of activity from Russian forces was observed today in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the start of the day, the Russian forces have attempted to penetrate our defenses 27 times in the areas of Vozdvyzhenska, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Kalynove, and Umanske. Currently, 22 enemy attacks have been repelled, with five engagements ongoing. Our defenders are taking measures to stabilize the situation and prevent further enemy advances into Ukrainian territory.

The enemy is suffering significant losses - preliminary reports indicate that our forces have neutralized 276 Russian soldiers in this direction today, with 92 of them being irretrievably lost. Additionally, a combat armored vehicle, an artillery system, and nine trucks have been destroyed. Another ten guns, a tank, 19 trucks, and one multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) have been significantly damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy launched five attacks on our positions. The highest activity was observed around Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka. All attempts by the adversary to break through in this area were unsuccessful.

The Russian army unsuccessfully attempted to storm our positions three times in the Orikhiv direction near Robotyne and Novodanilivka.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, the enemy continues its efforts to dislodge our units from their positions. One unsuccessful assault by the aggressor was repelled by Ukrainian forces.

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian forces made advances on July 20 near Vovchansk, as well as in the areas of Svatove and Donetsk.
