Russian army attempts to break through Ukrainian forces' defenses in Pokrovsk direction

Throughout the day, the enemy launched two missile strikes (using three missiles) and carried out 57 airstrikes using 103 guided aerial bombs across Ukrainian territory.

Additionally, Russian forces deployed 512 kamikaze drones and conducted over 3,200 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

Frontline situation

As of 10:00 PM, there have been 149 combat engagements since the beginning of the day.

According to the General Staff, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy conducted 13 offensive assaults near Vovchansk and Hlyboke, suffering defeats during the clashes.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy also attacked Ukrainian positions 13 times in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled ten attacks, with three more currently ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defensive positions 14 times throughout the day near Hrekivka, Makiivka, and Terni. According to updated information, all these battles ended unsuccessfully for the enemy.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy launched assaults in the areas of Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Spirne, Verkhnokamyanske, and Vyiimka. Ukrainian defenders halted five Russian attacks, with three more engagements ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted 11 assaults near Hryhorivka, Andriivka, Chasiv Yar, and Klishchiivka. According to updated information, three attacks are currently ongoing in the Chasiv Yar area.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked the defensive positions near Pivnichne, Toretsk, and New York 15 times without success.

The most significant activity by Russian forces today was in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense 37 times near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Prohres, Lozuvatske, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka. Five battles are still ongoing.

"The enemy is suffering significant losses. Today, 227 soldiers were neutralized in this direction, 79 of them irreversibly. Additionally, three armored combat vehicles, one infantry fighting vehicle, one motorcycle, two armored personnel carriers, two vehicles, and one MT-LB were destroyed. Moreover, an armored personnel carrier, five 122-mm D-30 howitzers, one MT-12 Rapira anti-tank gun, an armored combat vehicle, and a 120-mm mortar were damaged," the statement reads.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 17 times near Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, and Pobieda. According to updated information, four battles are still ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian forces launched 18 offensive actions near Urozhaine, Vodiane, Velyka Novosilka, and Kostyantynivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks, with two battles continuing.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, all efforts by the Russian army to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions were unsuccessful.

In other directions, the situation remains largely unchanged.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also commended the soldiers of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, who are effectively destroying the enemy in their defense sector, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment.

Additionally, according to the operational-tactical grouping Kharkiv, the Russian forces are preparing new units for attacks in Vovchansk.
