Russia passes off mobile boiler houses as morgues: Center for Countering Disinformation debunks fake news
Ukraine has debunked a new fake narrative from Russian propaganda. The occupiers claimed that mobile boiler houses for Sumy were morgues, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, Russian Telegram channels spread fake information about the delivery of dozens of mobile morgues to Sumy. The occupiers linked this alleged "humanitarian aid" to a partnership between Coca-Cola and the International Red Cross.
The disinformation post was accompanied by a photo showing mobile containers with the supposed English label "Mobile Morgue."
"In fact, this is yet another fake from Russian propaganda. The mobile containers mentioned are actually mobile boilers, which the Ukrainian Red Cross, in cooperation with Coca-Cola, is delivering to local communities to support the people of Ukraine," the center explained.
It is worth noting that last month, the center reported another new fake fabricated by the Russians about Ukraine.
This disinformation is targeted at the Middle East, Global South countries, and the USA.
Furthermore, Russia previously claimed that Ukraine allegedly attempted to strike the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. However, this information is false.
