Russia unleashes 50 drones on Ukraine: Zaporizhzhia hit hard and more regions targeted

On the night of July 20, Russia launched 57 drones into Ukraine. Zaporizhzhia and the frontline territories were under attack, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians launched attack drones and imitator drones from four directions of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Air defense forces shot down 18 of the 57 drones in the north and east of the country. Seven drones were locally lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.
Zaporizhzhia and the frontline areas of the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipro regions were attacked. A total of 32 drones were hit in 10 locations. Downed drones (wreckage) were recorded in 6 locations.
The Air Force emphasizes that the enemy attack continues, with a new wave of Shaheds coming from the northeast.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of July 20, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia and the region using multiple launch rocket systems and drones. The attack damaged private homes and a high-rise building, and caused fires. Three women were injured.
Russians also struck a village near Kherson. A man and a child were injured in the attack.
That night, the enemy army also attacked the Sumy region with drones. As a result of the hits, houses caught fire, and a 78-year-old woman died.
