Russia under attack by allegedly Ukrainian drones - Air defense responds
Russians complain about alleged Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region, states the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry, a Ukrainian drone was allegedly spotted over the territory of the Bryansk region. It was reportedly destroyed by air defense.
"At around 10:30 p.m., an attempt by the Kyiv regime to launch a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type UAV against targets in the Russian Federation was prevented. The Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by regular air defense means over the territory of the Bryansk region," the ministry wrote.
After that, the ministry announced another "downed UAV".
"Around 23:00, another Ukrainian drone was intercepted over the territory of the Bryansk region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The governor of the region, Aleksandr Bogomaz, said that three drones were flying over the territory of the region, which were allegedly shot down by air defense.
"The third unmanned aerial vehicle of the airplane type was destroyed over the territory of Vygonychi district. There were no casualties or damage. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot," the governor said.
Russia's Bryansk region is located on the border with Ukraine's Chernihiv region.

Recently, a drone was also spotted in Voronezh, Russia. Residents of the city heard an explosion and air defense work.
The drone also attacked the largest oil refinery in Yaroslavl.
