Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to maintain their defensive positions in the vicinity of Avdiivka and hold occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. Over the past 24 hours, there have been reported 120 combat engagements, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attacks

In total, the adversary has delivered 17 missile and 36 aerial strikes, along with 74 shelling incidents using multiple rocket launch systems targeting the positions of our troops and civilian settlements.

Regrettably, as a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are reported casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers carried out air and missile strikes on our state. Through the efforts of air defense forces, 31 out of 32 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type were successfully neutralized. The consequences of the missile strike are currently being assessed.

Moreover, during the current day, the enemy launched an attack on Ukraine using 10 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All drones were successfully neutralized.

Aerial strikes targeted Kostiantynivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Over 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group North in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, engaging in active sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to critical sectors. Additionally, there is an increase in the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia in the Kup'yansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 21 enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka and an additional 2 attacks east of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks in the area of Serebrianske Forestry Area in the Luhansk region and east of Terniv in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Forces thwarted six enemy attacks near Ivanivka, Andriivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, consolidating their positions on achieved front lines.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders persist in containing the adversary, who continues attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers steadfastly hold their ground, causing significant losses to the occupiers.

The Defense Forces successfully repelled 29 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, as well as an additional 28 attacks south of Siverne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces are holding back the enemy in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region, repelling a total of 19 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the defense forces repelled 6 enemy attacks near Robotyne and west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Simultaneously, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to actively engage, causing losses to the occupying forces in both personnel and equipment. They are effectively wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers persist in holding the occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, conducting counter-battery warfare, and delivering fire strikes on the enemy's rear areas.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation conducted strikes on 5 areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment of the enemy.

Missile units targeted a command post, 5 areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, as well as an enemy ammunition depot.
