Russia-Ukraine war: Situation on the front as of November 14

Yesterday, Russian terrorists attacked the city of Kherson using multiple launch rocket systems and a ballistic missile.

Over the past day, there were 80 combat engagements. In total, the enemy launched 4 missiles, carried out 53 air strikes, and fired 45 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

Sadly, these terrorist attacks resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private and multi-story residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, suffered destruction and damage.

Air strikes targeted locations across three regions in Ukraine:

Pershotravneve, Kopanky, Novosergiivka in the Kharkiv region;

Serebryanske Forest in the Luhansk region;

Spirne, Vyimka, Kostiantynivka, Klishchiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Pobeda, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Urozhaine in the Donetsk region;

Beryslav, Ivanivka, Tyahynka in the Kherson region.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

The situation at the frontlines

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia direction has not changed.

The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas of the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, taking part in active sabotage activities to impede Ukrainian troop deployment to threatened zones, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched assault operations in Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka located in the Kharkiv region. Despite facing 7 attacks, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled them.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy also attempted assault operations near Nadiya, Novoyehorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske in the Donetsk region. However, Ukrainian defenders were able to repel all 6 attacks launched by the enemy.

In the Bakhmut direction, the aggressor launched assault operations near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. However, Ukrainian troops successfully thwarted all 15 attacks.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian defense forces are continuing their assault operations towards the south of the Bakhmut region in Donetsk, causing considerable losses in personnel and equipment to the enemy while consolidating the conquered positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy supported by their aviation is relentlessly attempting to besiege Avdiivka. Nevertheless, Ukrainian soldiers are fearlessly holding the line, causing significant losses to the invader.

The enemy's attempted offensive maneuvers south of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Pivnichne, and east of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 18 attacks in those areas. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 24 attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy, with support from aviation, engaged in failed assault operations in the regions of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy attempted assault operations to the south of Zolota Niva in the Donetsk region but failed.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four attacks near Robotyno, Zaporizhzhia region.

Enemy losses

Over the day, the Defense Forces' aviation conducted 8 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 1 strike on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.

Missile units launched attacks on 6 areas of enemy concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, 2 control points, 6 artillery pieces, an air defense system, and another significant enemy target.

The total number of Russian military losses from the beginning of the invasion is 312,550.
