The enemy is actively using aircraft, missiles, and drones while attempting to advance along several axes, but Ukrainian units are holding their positions and inflicting significant losses on the adversary, according to a statement published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time on December 30, a total of 142 combat engagements had been recorded. Over the past day, the enemy carried out three missile strikes and 34 airstrikes, launching three missiles and dropping 101 guided aerial bombs. In addition, there were 2,574 artillery shellings and 2,759 attacks by kamikaze drones.
On the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two airstrikes were recorded, along with five dropped aerial bombs and 60 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, eight attacks were repelled in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchansk Khutory, and Starytsia, as well as toward Izbytske and Lyman.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to push back Ukrainian units four times in the areas of Bohuslavka, Pishchane, and Sheikivka, with one battle still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, 10 attacks were recorded near Zarichne, Novoselivka, and Yampil, as well as toward Novosergiivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, and Druzhliubivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy attempted to breach defenses 17 times in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultine, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, and toward Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 28 assault actions took place, with fighting ongoing in three locations.
Preliminary reports indicate 118 enemy combatants were neutralized, including 68 permanently, along with destroyed equipment, drones, and personnel shelters.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, 11 attacks were stopped, while Velykomykhailivka came under an airstrike.
In the Huliaipole direction, 22 clashes were recorded, two of which are ongoing, and several populated areas were hit by airstrikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, no offensive actions were reported, though KAB strikes targeted Orikhiv and Zaporizhzhia.
In the Pridniprovskyi direction, attempts to advance near the Antonivka Bridge were unsuccessful.
Russia is spreading a narrative about a supposed rapid capture of Zaporizhzhia, aiming to project external strength and pressure the US. According to reports, this is part of a deliberate information campaign designed to create the impression of a threat from Vasylivka, despite the absence of actual conditions for infantry advancement.
Since December 30, a total of 63 combat engagements have been recorded along the entire frontline, while the enemy continues shelling border areas from Russian territory.
