The situation on the front as of the evening of December 10 remains dynamic: the intensity of enemy attacks persists, and Ukrainian units continue to hold back pressure in various directions, according to a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Since the beginning of the day, 200 combat engagements have been recorded. Defense Forces units continue to impede the enemy’s advance and inflict significant losses.

Russian forces carried out 23 airstrikes using 62 guided bombs, launched 1,754 attack drones, and conducted 2,707 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, seven combat engagements took place; the enemy carried out 65 attacks, one of them using a multiple-launch rocket system.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, 10 attacks were recorded in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Dvorichanske, and toward Synelnykove, Obukhivka, and Kutkivka; one engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted nine times to advance toward Petropavlivka and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, 23 assault actions were repelled, and four more engagements are ongoing.

In the Sloviansk area, the enemy attacked seven times near Yampil and toward Sviato-Pokrovske.

No activity was recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, 23 engagements took place in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and other settlements.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 36 assault attempts were recorded over the past day. According to preliminary data, 124 Russian soldiers were killed and another 62 were put out of action. Enemy vehicles, armored fighting vehicles, motorcycles, quad bikes, drones, and shelters were also destroyed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 20 attacks.

In the Huliaipole direction, 14 engagements took place, two of which are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv area, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through the defenses nine times.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, two unsuccessful assault attempts were recorded near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

The UK Ministry of Defence reported the death of 28-year-old Junior Corporal of the Airborne Forces, George Guly, in Ukraine on December 9. According to the ministry, his death occurred in an accident far from the front line while he was observing Ukrainian forces testing a new defense system.

During a meeting in Rome with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni suggested the possibility of painful concessions for Ukraine and expressed support for an accelerated start to negotiations involving the US.
