Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of December 6

During the past 24 hours, on December 5, there were 184 combat engagements along the front. The largest number of enemy attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, yesterday the enemy carried out 53 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 137 guided bombs. In addition, it deployed 6,602 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,988 artillery and mortar strikes on Ukrainian forces and settlements, including 138 using multiple-launch rocket systems.
The aggressor launched airstrikes, including on the settlement of Korobchyne in Kharkiv region.
Yesterday, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck three enemy artillery systems.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attack. The enemy conducted two airstrikes, dropping a total of five guided bombs, and carried out 198 artillery strikes, including six with multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, ten combat engagements took place near Vovchansk, Prilipky, Odradne, and in the direction of Izbytske and Lyman.
In the Kupiansk direction, five enemy attacks were recorded. The Defense Forces repelled assaults near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and in the direction of Hlushkivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 19 times, attempting to advance near Novovodyane, Novoiehorivka, Zarichne, Derylove, and Kolodiazi.
In the Sloviansk direction, the aggressor attacked near Dronivka, Serebrianka, and in the direction of Siversk. In total, eight combat engagements occurred.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Novomarkove and Vasiukivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 27 attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Bik, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 51 enemy attacks near Mayak, Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoseriivka, Molodetske, Kotliarivka, Yalta, and Dachne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy assault actions near Oleksandrohrad, Sosnivka, Yehorivka, Pryvilne, Rybne, and Krasnohirsk.
In the Huliaipole direction, seven combat engagements were recorded near Solodke, Dobropillia, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, four combat engagements occurred as the enemy attempted to advance near Stepnohirsk and in the direction of Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled six enemy attacks.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost approximately 1,179,790 personnel.
In particular, in the past 24 hours, Russian forces lost 1,180 personnel.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine also destroyed two tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 31 artillery systems, two multiple-launch rocket systems, 487 operational-tactical drones, 130 vehicles, and one piece of special equipment.
