Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 30

During the past day, November 29, a total of 271 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline. Russian forces continue to attack most heavily in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, yesterday the enemy launched three missile strikes and 40 airstrikes, used 38 missiles, and dropped 110 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces carried out 3,813 attacks, including 59 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 4,033 kamikaze drones.
Airstrikes targeted areas near the settlements of Kivsharivka in Kharkiv region; Mezhova in Dnipropetrovsk region; Sloviansk in Donetsk region; and Verkhnia Tersa, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Ternuvate, and Pryluky in Zaporizhzhia region.
During the past day, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment concentrations, as well as two enemy artillery systems.
Situation by direction
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two combat engagements took place during the past day. The enemy launched seven airstrikes, dropped 15 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 154 attacks, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled nine attacks near Vovchansk, Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory, Kolodiazne, and toward Kutkivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched 14 attacks yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled assault actions near Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Novoplatonivka, and toward Nova Kruhlakivka, Hlushkivka, and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 23 times, attempting to break into Ukrainian defenses near Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Novovodyane, Seredne, Karpivka, Derylove, Novoselivka, Kolodiazi, Zarichne, and toward Stepove.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces halted nine enemy attacks near Yampil and Serebrianka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped four enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove, and Vasiukivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 25 attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 76 assault actions near Volodymyrivka, Mayak, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novosergiivka, and Filiia.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy launched 44 attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Tovste, Sosnivka, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vyshneve, Pryvillia, and Rybne.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks near Pryvilne, Solodke, Zelenyi Hai, and toward Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, ten combat engagements took place as the enemy attempted to advance near Stepnohirsk, Stepove, and toward Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, no combat engagements were recorded during the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups.
Russian losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 1,172,860 personnel.
In particular, Russian forces lost 1,160 soldiers in the past day.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed five tanks, 14 armored fighting vehicles, seven artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 508 tactical-level drones, 29 missiles, and 49 units of enemy vehicles.
