As of 10:00 PM on 27 November, there were 231 combat engagements on the frontline over the past day. The largest number, as usual, occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian strikes

Over the past day, the occupiers conducted 25 airstrikes, dropping 78 guided bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 1,727 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,535 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Frontline updates

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops repelled eight assault actions since the start of the day. Russia also carried out two airstrikes using six guided bombs and conducted 121 attacks.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defenders six times and were pushed back near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian units carried out six assault actions, attempting to break through towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Mala Shapkivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 29 attacks near Hrekivka, Karpivka, Novoyehorivka, Serednie, Novoselivka, Shandryholove, Torske, and towards Novyi Mir, Hlushchenkove, Druzhelyubivka, Olhivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, and Oleksandrivka. As of 22:00, Ukrainian defenders were repelling enemy assaults in nine locations.

In the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces attempted to break through 13 times near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebryanka, Vyjimka, Fedorivka, and towards Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements took place near Chasiv Yar and towards Bondarne.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces carried out 27 attacks on Defence Forces positions, concentrating efforts towards Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, and in the areas of Pleshchiivka and Rusyn Yar.

Since the beginning of the day in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian units attempted 58 breakthroughs near Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Zatyshok, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoeconomichne, Pishchane, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, and towards Hryshyne and Novopavlivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.

"The Defence Forces continue to hold back Russian assaults, and the enemy is suffering heavy losses. On Thursday, 27 November, 150 occupiers were neutralised in this direction, including 108 irreversibly," the General Staff report states.

Ukrainian forces destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle, nine units of automotive equipment, six unmanned aerial vehicles, one piece of special equipment, and two enemy shelters. They also struck two vehicles, two pieces of special equipment, and twelve personnel shelters.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian units stopped 19 Russian attacks near Yalta, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Rybne, Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, Vorone, Stepove, Krasnohirske, and towards Oleksiivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukraine’s defenders repelled 16 attempts by Russian forces to advance near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Chervone, and towards Dobropillia, Pryluky, Varvarivka, and Huliaipole. The settlements of Ternuvate and Huliaipole came under airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian units stopped seven Russian attacks towards Novoandriivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, and in the area of Kamianske and Stepove.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions but carried out an airstrike on Prydniprovske.

Russian losses

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, total Russian personnel losses amount to approximately 1,169,690 troops.

In the past 24 hours alone, Russian forces lost 1,140 personnel and two aircraft.

The Defence Forces also carried out a strike on Taganrog, targeting the Russian aircraft plant Tantk im. Berieva on the night of 25 November. Not only was the experimental A-60 aircraft destroyed, but also the A-100LL.
