Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 16

During November 15, 176 combat engagements were recorded on the front. Russian occupiers were most active in the Pokrovsk direction, according to a summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, yesterday the enemy carried out one missile and 53 airstrikes, fired one missile, and dropped 122 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they conducted 4,251 artillery attacks, including 131 from multiple rocket launchers, and deployed 6,153 kamikaze drones.
Airstrikes hit areas near the settlements of Pokrovske and Bratske in Dnipropetrovsk region; Zaliznychne, Prymorske, Malokaterynivka, Kosivtseve, Ternuvate, and Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region; Odradokamianka in Kherson region.
Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four areas of enemy personnel concentration, seven command posts, 11 artillery systems, two ammunition depots, a radar station, and one other important facility of the Russian occupiers.
Frontline situation
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, two combat engagements were recorded. The enemy carried out four airstrikes, dropped a total of 11 guided bombs, and conducted 179 artillery strikes, including 10 from multiple rocket launchers.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, seven combat engagements occurred near Vovchansk and toward Dvorichne.
In the Kupiansk direction, five enemy attacks were recorded. Ukrainian forces repelled assaults near Bohuslavka, Kupiansk, and toward Pishchane and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked seven times, attempting to advance in the areas of Yampolivka, Derylove, Kolodiazi, and toward Druzhliubivka, Drobysheve, and Borova.
In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Pereizne, and toward Zvanivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements occurred near Minkivka and Predtechyne.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Rusynyi Yar, and toward Sofiivka and Berestka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 52 enemy assaults in the areas of Chervonyi Lyman, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Novopavlivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and Dachne.
In the Oleksandrivsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 20 attacks near Yalta, Sosnivka, Pryvilne, Vorone, Verbove, Vyshneve, Krasnohirsk, and Zelenyi Hai.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 12 times near Varvarivka and Zatyshshia.
In the Orikhiv direction, five attacks were carried out near Stepnohirsk, Plavni, and Stepove.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy launched three failed assaults toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive formations were detected.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost approximately 1,158,260 military personnel.
Overall, yesterday Russian losses amounted to 860 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed three tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 26 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, 409 operational-tactical drones, 68 vehicles, and two special-purpose enemy vehicles.
